1952 GMC , C.O.E. , Cab & chassis. This truck was brought to new england from North Dakota when it was retured from Farm duty. It had a huge Dump/Grain bed on it. The restoration was started and never finished. There is close to $10,000 sunk into this project. My Loss , Your gain ! You can't find These trucks around here in Solid shape , never mind a rare Cabover ! Sure , you can find one out in the midwest for $2500- $3000 Then your gonna spend $1500 - $1800 Trucking it back to new england and you still haven't even seen it up close , just pictures... The paint & body work is a few years old , The Previous owner had a rug sitting on the roof to protect the paint from the tarp that was covering it. The rug retained any moisture & water and ruined the piant & bondo started to crack on the roof where some roof dents were repaired. The roof has been taken back down to metal. It needs to be redone. I was gonna do it black from the beltline up so it would match the black on the bottom instead of trying to color match the red. I think it would look better like that anyways. There are Tons of new parts coming with this abandoned resto. Here are the major components= - All new glass - The stock /factory gauges have been sent out and rebuilt (look like brand new)-New Chrome door handles (inside & out)- Window & door rubbers- New Complete wiring harness (still in the package)-New alt & regulator- New glove box liner- New wipers- Seat rebuilt and recovered- New gas tank- All the inside & exterior trim is included. This truck was running about 4 years ago but, the wiring - battery- complete interior(dash electrical) has been removed for the paint work. This is a great , SOLID , project truck ! Make it stock , Rat rod it, Car hauler, Transplant the body to a more modern chassis, etc..... There are a ton of possibilities with this truck. Let your imagination take over.
