2000 Toyota Tundra Limited 4x4, Motor Trends truck of the year with very little changes until the 2006 model. This "limited" truck has EVERY available option Toyota offered including the TRD suspension and component upgrades, leather seats, 6 disc CD changer, electric seats, and push button 4WD. The truck also features new Michelin tires, new brakes, bed liner, fiberglass cap, and factory Toyota frame replacement as part of a recall (includes lifetime warranty). New brake lines are also included in the frame replacement. The motor is strong and does not burn or leak oil. The transmission shifts smoothly at all speeds. Everything works - all windows, door locks, A/C, 4WD, interior and exterior lights. There are no rips or tears in the seats, and you can see by the photos the interior is in excellent condition. The paint is shinny salsa red, and good overall condition. There is no visible rust, but some paint chipping on the plastic wheel surrounds - see photos. Recent service includes a new master cylinder, new front windshield, and recharged A/C including receipts for everything mentioned. I wouldn't say the truck is perfect, but for 12 year old 4WD full-sized trucks, you won't find many with these features or in this condition. I am the second owner, and both owners were non-smokers. There is one problem that will require attention - a replacement exhaust system. As typical for this year truck per Tundra.com forum, the truck will need exhaust manifolds, and select replacement exhaust parts to restore to normal. Many people upgrade to aftermarket headers, but stock exhaust manifolds can be purchased on Ebay for as little as $99 per pair. The OS sensors have all been replaced by a Toyota dealer, and I have that receipt too, but the exhaust leak has caused the check engine light to come on. Once the exhaust system/leak is corrected, the check engine light can be reset. The truck recently passed the Ohio emissions test, so everything else is functioning properly. Finally - I disagree with the free auto check service report provided by Ebay. There are often discrepancies between it and Carfax. Ebay's auto check reports... of all things... a vehicle roll-over! I can't imagine any possible way a big truck like this could rollover and no be completely totaled. Regardless of where this information came from, the Carfax which everyone holds as the industry authority, reports NO ACCIDENTS and only two owners. Plus it values the truck at $1310 above retail value. I can e-mail you the report, just send me your information. The truck will either be sold this week, or traded into the dealer. I thought someone would appreciate a great truck at a great price. Based on Kelly Blue book value with these options, and mileage, the truck is worth $8650.
