For sale--1968 Triumph Spitfire Mk III, It has the 1300 engine. This car has been in storage for many years. The only place it has any rust out is in the passengers floor area, ahead of the seat. There are a couple small holes in the battery box, and some pin holes in the drivers floor--ahead of the seat. The rest is very solid---the trunk floor, the rockers-inner & outer, the areas where the the suspension attaches, the frame and all outriggers, fenders, quarters, and doors--nice and solid--small amounts of surface rust here and there. The engine will fire right up. It runs nice and idles well even without a carb rebuild. The master cylinders are both in need of rebuild. The clutch holds and the transmission shifts through all the gears. The seats are nice--not torn up or rotted. There is a new soft top that is not pictured, but goes with it. The banjo steering wheel is in nice shape. This has had bodywork and paint many years back, and was not the best job. The front bumper and lower valance are missing. The car needs a total restoration, but is very solid. The engine and transmission are worth the starting bid. I have a clear title in my name. I will aid the buyer in shipping if needed. A mileage discrepancy may exist, I needed to put in a number --I think that's close-- I'll add correct number tomorrow.
