You are bidding on a Rust Free Correct 71 442 Convertible with 455 V8 . One of only 1304 ( 442's) made in 1971 and one of 869 cars with the Big Block 455 and turbo 400 Automatic. Numbers matching engine 292 on vin matches block, heads, exhaust manifolds , trans (OG tag) , rearend with positraction and possibly more matching . Engine and trans have 109,000 original miles are currently out of car for freshning . Car has New black Conv Top, NOS Quarter Panels still in box, Nos Fenders still in box, NOS Grills still in box, and Nos Ram air hood still in crate. The sheet metal was purchased due to original owner changed front end to 70 front end he liked better. Then last owner bought all NOS to restore to original. I bought car with NOS sheet metal and other NOS and extra parts to go with the car. Almost forgot correct 7041257 carb has been professionally rebuilt and plated to as new condition. I would like to sell as a package deal then new owner can sell extras and NOS if they like for profit. ( 70 Sheet metal is gone ! ) Only issue with this car was the last owner's wife parked car between two posts on beach and damaged both quarters , hence the NEW NOS Quarters included. However last owner had them repaired and they look great, so you could sell the Nos quarters if you wish. Car is an original Saturn Gold exterior with Black bucket seat interior , power black convertible top with glass back window. All glass and chrome is in excellent shape. The bumbers will need to be rechromed i think ? Have extra bumpers also. Last owner replaced power top motors and convertible top hydraulic cylinders. Clear title in hand in my name, no trades deals etc, ask all questions before bidding and have cash in hand prior to pick up or delivery.
