For Sale at NO RESERVE!! 1968 Ford F-250. Big Block FE 360 engine backed by a granny geared 4 speed. 2wd with 4:11 gears. It runs, moves and stops. The engine backfires out the passenger side exhaust on a regular basis. A set of rebuilt heads should take care of that problem. Other than that, mechanically it runs good and does not overheat. After sitting outside for 6 months, I charged the battery, gave it a shot of starting fluid and it started right up and idled. The body is there but should be replaced. its not too bad but I doubt the cab and box are useable without alot of metal work. Its not as bad as some vehicles I've seen offered here. There are holes on the drivers side but not falling out. Passenger side is better that the drivers side. The box was reskinned at some point and the bondo at the seam is coming off. The box floor is covered with plywood and I never lifted it to see what was under there. I can only imagine that it aint pretty.The tailgate has rust holes through it and should be replaced. Doors are decent but should be replaced too. The doors, tailgate and hood open, close and latch like they should. Both outer and inner fenders need to be replaced. I have rust free inner and outer fenders plus rust free radiator support available for additional cost to the winner. The hood and hinges are still in good shape and usable. Only showing surface rust on the inside of the hood. The frame has rust on it but is still solid and strong, not rusted through anywhere. Glass is all intact other than a ding where the mirror was mounted on the winshield. It is not cracked just a weird moon shaped ding like a piece came off with the mirror. The engine has Hooker headers into Cherry bombs, Pertronix Ignitor II electroinc ignition, new tires with less than 500 miles on them. These items alone cost me $900. So this will be a good deal for somebody since there is NO RESERVE!! Buyer will be responsible for having it shipped or pick it up in person at my home. I will not drive it anywhere off my property, so the shipping company must pick it up here. The title is clean and in my name.
