This Sunliner convertible is a real eye-catcher and is in very nice condition. It has been restored about five years ago and is very clean. The paint is Cardinal red and white. It has a couple of small spots that need touch-up, but for the most part is very good. Convertible top was replaced at the same time. I have the power top unit, but have never installed it. The interior is from Larry's Thunderbird and matches the original. It is in excellent condition and looks new. This car has a V-8 and is a standard shift. It has a 3-speed on the column. It has a rebuilt 292 engine and upgraded 4-barrel carburator. Runs and drives great. Front cross member is solid. Replaced upper control arm bushing, ball joints and idler arm. Overhauled wheel cylinders, replaced brake shoes and master cylinder at the time of the restoration. Gauges all work except the heat gauge and the speedometer does not record the miles. Exhaust system goes through rear bumper with glass-pack mufflers. Bumpers and bumper guards were rechromed. Carpet replaced at time of restoration and custom floor mats with Ford logo, in good condition. New trunk mat. Glass has all been replaced except the windshield, which has a small stone chip and some pitting, but is not cracked. Driver's window is cracked, but can be easily and inexpensively replaced. Converted to electric wipers. It also has an upgraded AM-FM radio with original style faceplate with remote control CD unit in trunk.
