Vehicle Detail
This is the same vehicle that was listed a month and a half ago, but I am the new owner. Everything worked out and I finally got to own a Bonneville in my dream color combination. But unfortunately it is bittersweet as some issues have come up which must take priority, so I am reluctantly putting this beauty back on the market. (I have clear title in my name) Since purchasing the vehicle I have obtained the PHS documentation which shows all colors and options on the car are as ordered, with the exception of factory door edge guards, which are no longer on the vehicle but the mounting holes on the doors still exist. Documented original 56K miles. Vehicle also comes with original owner's manuals and Protec-O-Plate. Options: Factory A/C with original cover 8-Lug Brake Drums Power Windows Power Brakes Power Steering Tilt steering AM Radio with Verba-Phonic (Re-Verb) Rear Electric Antenna Reel Out Trunk Lamp Condition: This vehicle is 47 years old and everyone has there own opinion on condition. I will try to list everything I know, but if you have any specific questions please contact me or I encourage you to come see the car in person. Exterior: Repaint in original Mayfair Maize Shows great, shiny and straight, minimal road chips (all touched up) this is what sold me on the car. Solid floors and frame, as would be expected with this mileage. 8-Lugs are painted and show well. Even and good tread on all 4 tires. Rear power electric antenna not working (can pull up manually) Top: Like new White top with glass zipper out window. Nice black frame, no rust, no bubbles on header Works great, no binding. Brand new hydraulics Interior: Original Parchment leather/black carpet Original tilt steering wheel in proper acrylic, NO CRACKS or crazing. A/C Dash Pad is solid NO CRACKS. Excellent original chrome on dash, no pitting. Driver's side leather surface has some age cracking (see pictures) but still very presentable, No other wear on edges or beads of seats, nice back seat. Black Carpet and mats in great shape Mechanical: Vehicle always starts quickly No overheating No hesitations or running issues Drives straight and true Does have the Pontiac oil drip when running, but it is minimal. All engine codes point to matching original block Other information: The engine compartment and trunk have been detailed. The front and rear bumpers are ok for cruising, but both need to be re-done to match the quality of the rest of the vehicle. I set my reserve for right around what I paid for the vehicle. Please don't ask as it's not fair to the other bidders. The information I have posted is correct to the best of my knowledge, but I encourage you to contact me for any other information you don't see listed. The vehicle is sold 'as is'. I hold clear title to the vehicle. New owner is responsible for vehicle pick-up but I will assist where I can. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit due via PayPal within 48 hours of auction end. The balance is due within 7 days after auction end and all funds have to clear account prior to release of vehicle and title. If funds are not received on a timely basis I reserve right to re-list vehicle or sell to next highest bidder. Bidders with no feedback or low feedback scores must contact me before bidding or I reserve the right to withdraw the bid. I also have this vehicle listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. On Jul-18-12 at 10:30:15 PDT, seller added the following information: Since I have been receiving quite a few questions on why I am selling the car so soon after I purchased it I thought I would clarify a little more. There is not an unforeseen issue with the vehicle and I am not trying to flip it. I had a business issue crop up that I will be held personally responsible for. I do not believe in incurring debt just to hold on to toys. I do not want to sell the vehicle, but right now it is my most liquid asset. Please contact me with any specific concerns you may have about the car.
