You are veiwing a 2001 Porsche Boxster S convertible. The car is actually in very good condition both inside and out. The paint appears to be fully original. As you can see in the photo gallery below the electronics are working perfetly and the top goes up and down with the touch of a switch. I came to own this car as the result of a monetary settlement I made with an individual who had owed me money for a long time. The car actually ran, I saw it run several times. The car now does not start, I took the car to the Porsche dealer who wanted to tear down the engine and find out why at a cost of $165 per hour so I elected to tow it to my own mechanic who I use regularly. He looked at it and after trying several things to get it running he also was unable to get the engine to start or even turn over. I elected to put the car up on ebay the way it is, before spending potentially thousands of dollars to get it running. There are really two ways to go here, 1) You could use the car as a summer project and tear the engine down to see what the problem is or 2) You could use it as a parts car if you have a Boxster S which was wrecked and you need the parts to rebuild yours. As an alternative to you race car fans out there, you could install a high performance engine in it and use the car on the track. . The bottom line here is that there are many ways to go with this car which is in high demand. I think the car will be sold at a very good price which will give you many options. I elected to sell the car with NO RESERVE to truly get it sold to the highest bidder. Keep in mind the car must be towed to your location as it does not to want to start. Good luck bidding to all.
