Up for auction is a very original 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1. It has a running 302 that cranks right up but does have a small knock. It has an automatic transmission that works and shifts. The brakes are all there but they do not work. All of the outer body metal is in very good shape with only minor rust. It still has all of the original hub caps and beauty rings!! Both floor pans will need to be replaced. The passenger side of the trunk floor has rust. The interior is original but the driver's window was left down just a bit and the weather got to it pretty good. The headliner was removed as you can see in the pics and there is surface rust in the top. The driver's side outer door handle is missing. This is a one-owner vehicle that was driven daily since new up until it was parked many years ago and left basically untouched for a long time. The odometer shows less than 28,000 which could be 128,000 but I can't verify either way. As you can see, it is a very original ride. It would make an excellent restoration project!
