1931 FORD MODEL A PICKUP NO RESERVE!!!!!! 1931 Ford Model A pickup Hot Rod project. Purchased in 2005 from the owner who remembered the truck when he was a young kid. Believed to be a late 50's/ 60's Hot Rod. Flat head V8, Three speed manual and juice brakes. Original Frame was beefed up and some custom mod to fire wall and engine cover to accomodate Flathead engine/trans. Pedals installed under dash and Ford gauges added. Was going to convert to modern hot rod with 1955 Desoto S22 Hemi, 700 R4, and 1998 S10 rear disc brake axle with 3.73 gears. Many parts from HOT HEADS including the engine/ 700 trans adapter with 1957 camshaft to accomodate Chevy water pump conversion. 700 R4 needs rebuilt along with Hemi. Crank and rods very clean and wrapped in soaked oil along with camshaft. Body in very good shape and does have some small rust areas in cab corner and bed and still has all fender brackets. Good glass and windows roll down and vent windshield still works. Have updated LED tail lights and headlights with turn signals built in. Perfect project for the Rat Rodder who wants old school or one who wants a great starting point for hot rod. Cab floor under seat EXCELLET and still have original seat brackets as well as updated Dodge Caravan seat. Upper cab still has canvas and wood. Doors in excellent conditin with trim still on knobs. Windows roll up and down.
