This vehicle is fun and catches everyone’s attention. The paint is in excellent condition. Clean Title. This car has been partially restored with fresh paint in the original color, new interior, new tires, and the top end of the motor has been rebuilt, a rebuilt carb, new Bilstein Shocks and new ignition parts. This has been my project car for the last several years. I have a complete set of original service manuals. I also have new bumper moldings but they are not yet on the car. Buy with confidence that you are getting a reliable and beautiful car ready for any road trip or just tooling around the town. There are a few very minor surface rust spots on the car. All rust areas are expressed in the pictures. The spots are under both doors and a spot along the bottom of the passenger door. Not bad at all. Also the bumper molding is cracked as seen in pictures, but I do have a new replacement piece. HISTORY: We are the third owners; we bought the car in Washington state years ago. We do not drive it often and that is why we are choosing to sell it in hopes the next owner will enjoy this wonderful car. Engine/Transmission and Performance: The odometer reads 57,947 but it is NOT working. The actual miles are probably not to far off of 65,000 miles. The transmission is a 4 speed. The engine has been maintained professionally over the years. The engine fires right up and is strong and solid. It does not ping, miss or backfire. The BMW gears shift smoothly, no grinding. There are no oil or water leaks. All of the lights, turn signals, wipers, and buzzers work on this car. The exception being the car odometer does not work. SOLD AS IS. NO WARRANTIES.
