Hello, I'm selling my classic 100% original 1993 Porsche 968 coupe/6speed with optional 17"Cup1 wheels. The front engine 968,s were only produced from 1992 thru 1995 in coupe and convertibles which replaced the 944 and red on tan is a great color combo on the 968. I'm a Porsche enthusiast and I have owned a 928 s4/968/ 944 and a 944turbo back in the 1980's and 90's so I know these cars well. My 968 is 100% stock,org Guards Red paint, factory optional 17"cup 1 staggered wheels that are designed to keep brakes cool at high speeds,optional sport suspension,Front seats reupholstered in new leather last week . It has 157K easy hwy mile but runs and idles,revs very smooth,even with the miles it still runs great,pulls strong,no issues,the 3.0-L engine starts right up and runs excellent,burns no oil,good compression on all 4-cylinders,no fluid leaks,its in great condition,never driven hard,All major service done at German Motor Works ,The engine is a very sophisticated 240HP 3.0Liter 4cyl 16 valve Vario-cam and has great power and torque in all gears with a top speed of 161mph with great gas mileage and durable. I purchased this classic in California from orig owner and shipped to Houston a few yrs ago, its never been exposed to bad weather,not a drop of rust on paint,frame,body or under carriage,the orig red paint shines well ,no cracking or pealing,not faded,clean leather interior and engine compartment , Its been a California car for 18yrs ,Exterior/interior are in great shape,new window tint,cost me $500 and really helps keep interior cool on hot days,,Large removable sunroof/roof mounted antenna, pop up headlights ,all leather interior with red piping on seats,all power options work,driver,passenger 8 way power seats ,cruise works, cold AC,hot heat,black Porsche floor mats, plenty space for luggage or groceries , tool/glove box in engine compartment, Well maintained including new timing/balancing belt/camshaft tensioners and seals done in Jan 2011 and still looks new,coolant flush/heater hoses,drive belts,water-pump,alternator,AC compressor,catalytic converter,O2sensors,rain X wiper-blades, Mobil-1 all filters,electrical system in great shape,I haven't driven my 968 much,its been kept in my climate controlled storage or my garage ,but I do drive on weekends to keep it running smooth and fluids circulating,its not my daily driver but is very dependable and likes to be driven,The engine and 6speed trans are solid ,shifts smooth in all 6 gears,smooth at freeway speeds 75-90mph or more,excellent clutch, The 968 is a blast to drive with its near perfect 50/50 weight distribution , great handling and braking,.2nd owner,never smoked in, spare tire never used,clean Car-fax,Auto check score is 87 out of 50 which excellent,clean title in hand,no issues,never wrecked,all pictures are current and some taken before window tint,very fast and practical for daily driving, You can research/Google Porsche 968 for details ,The transmission is a 6speed manual,all gauges work,power mirrors,windows,locks,excellent brakes ,no service lights on ,auxiliary fans work and keep it cool even in the Texas heat .
