Up for auction is a beautiful Plymouth Duster. Details are: - 1973 Plymouth Duster, with 340 engine ONLY 1 hour on the rebuild - 340 motor boxed .30" over - 340 engine block was taken to a machine shop and had new rings put in, pistons polished, polished crank, new rod bearings, new oil pump - 904 transmission - 3-Speed Auto Manual (no clutch, but shift from 1st through 3rd gear) - 323 gears - new front bumper - new front suspension - new ball joints - new tie rods - has a racing, sport steering wheel The external paint color is viper yellow, which was the original color code of the car. It was later in 1998 re-painted. It has been stored since then. The paint needs to be touched up in areas (there are some nicks). There are two small weld mounts (that look like two little, oval dents) on the driver front fender. We are honestly not sure if the engine is original to the car. The number code on the plate under the hood matches to a 340 engine. Needs an alignment. Brakes were bled, but possibly could be re-bled since it takes some pressure to come to a complete stop. The windshield washing fluid reservoir tank is cracked, but will be replaced with a new one by the end of the auction. The interior is not in mint condition, could use some TLC. Back seat on driver side needs repair (see taped area in photo). Interior carpet looks new. We're not sure if all of the instruments work, but we noticed when we test drove it that the speedometer needle was bouncing around. Since there's only 1 hour on the engine it needs to be broken in.
