Hello, up for sale is our 2003 Volkswagen Passat GLX V6 2.8L. It currently has 152,000 miles. We have two other cars that need work so we are selling our "better" car so that we can fix our other two. I've had this Passat since 2008 when it had 85,000 miles. And bought it from Stohlman VW in Tysons. The car is Blue with Tan interior. It has Power windows, locks, mirrors, sunroof. Electronic temperature control, wood trim etc etc etc. . . I don't want to seat here and list EVERY factory option as if it would add value to the car. (When was the last time you saw a car with Manual windows???) I'm just going to tell you the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The Good -The engine still runs like a champ. (We just came back from the beach) -Recent work includes: -Timing belt serviced -New PCV hoses -Valve cover Gaskets replaced -A/C recharged this summer -Cooling system Flushed -Heater core serviced for trapped air -CV joints replaced -New coolant reservoir bottle -Pulley tensioner replaced -Flex pipes (2) replaced -All 4 brake pads and rotors changed last summer -Timely oil changes using only Synthetic oil. -Euro Light Switch -Leather and carpet in great shape - New floor mats -A/C is freezing cold and the heat works fine -One headlight is new -Two front tires are in good shape The Bad -Two rear tires are nearing the end of their career - Driver side paint could use a good professional buffing and waxing service The Ugly -The radio has a knob missing (see pic) -The rims are a little hurt, I bought the car like that and never bothered me. - The rear bumper has a few scratches from parallel parking in the city. And a scrape. (see pic) Yes the car has a lot of miles. I commuted from Sterling, VA to Baltimore, MD for 3 years and the miles show it. I went to work at 4am and came home at 1pm, so I never really sat in traffic, so these are real highway miles. You can go buy a Passat for a lot more money from a dealership (like I did) with less miles. . . but it's only a matter of time before all the services mentioned above will have to be done. A lot of the work done to this Passat are problems that are very common with Passats. The valve covers, the heater core, the pulley. . . just do a simple search on Google.
