1959 Triumph TR3 Up for bid is one very nice 1959 Triumph TR3. Complete Frame-Up Restoration with less than 500 miles on it.. Vin.#TS 39379L EB 1044389 39411 TR 4 Motor engine CT75903E k296 bil 301435 Everything on this car is New or has been completely Rebuilt. Clear down to the bushing in the rear leaf springs. I bought this car in May of 2008. The PO had started the restoration by taking the car apart and buying a rebuilt [2500 miles]TR4 motor because the original motor had a cracked block and he wanted the larger motor. Complete body and frame was stripped to bare metal. The frame, body tub,and inside of fenders has been painted with Por-15 and Por-15 Primer and then painted the body color.[about two shades darker than Prim Rose Yellow ] New leather interior including seat frames. New top and Tonneau cover Here is a list of up-grades that have been done to the car.[I have the original parts also.] Hi-torque starter Pertronix "Flame Thrower"Electronic Distributor Pertronix Ignition Coil Cobalt plug wires Stainless Steel carb linking Offenhauser valve cover Electric Cooling Fan New Gas Tank and sending unit Spin-on Oil Filter Adaper High Tech Silicone Hoses All stainless steel bolts,nuts and scews Dynamat Sound deaden and heat shield on fire wall and floor boards Delrin Center Tie Rod Bush & Pin Fusses added to all circuits Wind Wings K&N Air Filters Car Cover All weather New Tires with Port-a-walls white walls. {If you don't like the look just remove them.} Here is a list of things that have not been done.
