Full engine refurbishment in 2007 by one of Atlanta's leading Benz shops, including a total rebuild of the fuel delivery system - rebuilt/painted tank, new fuel pump and fuel lines, & rebuilt fuel injector pump. All other mechanical aspects of this car are solid with excellent power throughout the 4 speed manual transmission. New Michelin tires and a very good condition black colored soft top.Car has been well cared for with short local trips only. Interior is in good condition with only a few mild but normal issues. Good fit & finish, chrome good to very good, original Becker radio, spare tire & extensive repair records. No oil or other fluid leaks and all accessories are in good working order. This SL was built for the European market and so has the Euro headlamps and instrumentation in metric.This is an excellent 'driver' SL or would make a superb choice for the real 230 enthusiast that wants to do a full rebuild.
