Offering for your consideration one 1979 Ford Shortbed Ranger Pickup Truck. My son purchased this truck from his boss at work who had owned the truck for 12 years. The motor was rebuilt a few years ago and it has been in storage since. The truck has a 351 modified with a mild cam aluminum intake and a new holly 4 BBL carb manual choke. The Dana 44 front diff has been rebuilt as well as the 9 inch Ford rear end. My son is a mechanic and the shop he works in rebuilt the C-6 transmission which has about ten miles on it since installed in March. The tranmission needs the linkage hooked up from the shifter to the transmission my son did not do this prior to moving to California I am selling this truck for him. The only drivetrain item that has not been rebuilt is the transfer case but it is in working order. The truck has brand new 3 inch exhaust front to back with wrapped long tube headers. The bed sides are rusty the floor is good. The cab needs corners and a small repair the the drivers floor pan see pics. The cab mounts are rust free and soild. My son planned to make this a mud truck keep in mind you will have to trailer the truck home.
