1959 FORD COUNTRY SEDAN ***********NO RESERVE******************** The wagon is a running and driving car. It starts right up. It has a brand new starter,new plugs, new points and condensor, new fuel pump, new cylinoid, and the carburator has been rebuilt. The front and rear bench seat have been re-upholstered. The paint on the car is decent. It is a really solid wagon, its been a New Mexico car with a clean NM title. It has a very tiny bit of rust starting in the spare tire well. The frame and floor pans are good. The chrome is in good shape both front and back. This car gets alot of attention every time I cruise her!The Bad:It needs carpet and all the door panels put back on. The radiator needs to be flushed out. 1st gear chatters when you take off and drive in 1st, when you shift into second or third it runs perfect and smooth. I talked to a shop here locally and he told me you can replace the gear for first. He quoted me $275 for the whole job. It needs an new rear taillight cover the old one cracked. It has one good one. They are very cheap to replace and nightprowlers.com has them.The car is a running and driving project car. It need some cosmetic and some minor tuning to run really good. I do drive it 3-4 time a week and take it to car shows with no problem.Over all it is a really awesome Wagon that you can cruise as you fix. It would make a killer surf rod, hot rod or kustom.
