2001 SAAB 9-3 VIGGEN COUPE black interior/black exterior Up for sale is this 2001 Saab 9-3 Viggen model. This is a 2 door coupe black on black leather interior with tinted front and rear windows. Inspection passed March 2012. Has 121k miles mostly highway from PA to NJ. The car is maintained by regular check ups including topping off fluids, oil changes etc. and regular tune-ups and checks as needed. Very reliable car that mechanically serves well. The only issues to be addressed would be minor cosmetic one's. Please read through:  AS OF 2011 (MAY) NEW BRAKE ROTORS AND HAWK BRAKE PADS , NEW 17 " WHEELS , UPGRADED INSTALLATIONS: 22MM REAR SWAY CAR , STEERING RACK BRACE AND CLAMP INSTALLED ( VIRTUALLY ELIMINATING ANY TORQUE, HUGE PLUS! ) HEATED SEATS, POWER SUNROOF, ALL POWER CONTROLS, LEATHER SEATS (WORN AS EXPECTED FOR A 11 YEAR OLD CAR) AIR INTAKE ( TURBO SOUNDS SMOOTH ) ABOUT 26 MPH TO THE GALLON highway. SYNTHETIC OIL CHANGES. CD PLAYER , CUP HOLDERS , THE WORKS. TEMPERATURE AND CLOCK DISPLAYED. REAR WIPERS. NEW FRONT DELTA WIPERS. 2.3 LI ENGINE. QUICK TO PICK UP SPEED, FRONT SEATS AND 2 SEATS IN THE BACK , ALL LEATHER . THE TRUNK AREA IS VERY SPACIOUS SURPRISINGLY. TO DATE: THE BRAKES DO SQUEAK SOMETIMES WHEN STOPPING , HOWEVER; THIS HAS BEEN CHECKED OUT BY 3 MECHANICS WHO STATE THE BRAKES AND PADS ARE FINE AND HAVE PLENTY OF PADDING. NO NEED FOR REPLACEMENT. THE GOOD NEWS IS YOU WILL RECEIVE CENTRIC BRAKE PADS ANYWAY as back up when replacement is eventually needed. Also THERE ARE A COUPLE BURN HOLES IN THE CAR (SMALL) ONE IS ON THE LEATHER front seat (SMALL),  SEE PHOTOS, ALTHOUGH I'VE LEARNED THIS CAN BE FIXED BY PURCHASING A CHEAP FIX IT KIT. THE SID PIXILATION IS AT ABOUT 70% . A VERY WELL KNOWN ISSUE WITH THESE SAABS , THIS HAPPENS TO NEARLY ALL OF THEM , HOWEVER, THIS CAN BE FIXED TO FULLY FUNCTION AT 100% . THE BUMPER DOES HAVE SCUFF MARKS UNDERNEATH THAT CAN BE COMPOUNDED, the lower the vehicle the more suseptible it is to scratch the street and create such marks.  Quick questions: any oil leaks? no turbo smoke? no what happened in the minor accident? were you in the accident? run into something, jump a curb, drive over anything? Where was the damage, what was replaced/repaired? it was prior owner ,  small damage to left side above wheel well. pics painted over. also fog right side fog light needs new bulb and socket and frame. do you have the original side marker lights? just the lights on the car are the rotors slotted, drilled, slotted & drilled? i believe drilled Did you paint the calipers? i didn't prior owner i believe did do the headlight wipers work? they do however need a new fuse replacement does the ac blower whine at all? No do the pulleys squeak at all? do not think so, no noises occur How long have you owned it, how many miles have you put on it? owned a year and a half or so put on about 16k from highway miles Do you know anything about the history of the car? replica of the saab JA-37 fighter plane. super fast, reliable, safe, i have no complaints other than it's too small and i need a higher up  Other info: Does have one small rust spot above wheel well, very small. Has already been sanded just needs some paint. As far as the accident on the carfax report, that was from another owner and I have no detailed info other than it was hit on the driver back side area above the wheel, the paint was scraped and since was sanded down and recoated black. Not anything serious to my knowledge. Reliability has not been an issue. Most of these issues are cosmetic. I have not had problems with driving performance. The lower control arm was replaced last inspection. This is a very reliable Viggen. A/C Works, Heat / heated seats work, power everything, sunroof, keypad, alarm, spare key included. CLEAR TITLE IN HAND. Minor scratches expected of the 2001 vehicle. Not many Viggens are left, so own a piece of history while they are still available. I was fortunate to see one other Viggen in PA, but in the almost 2 years I've owned the car that's the only 1 i've seen in PA, NJ, and New York. To test drive or view the car please contact.
