For sale is our 1997 Ford Taurus SHO, she is black, tan interior, Automatic, power windows, power locks, automatic climate control, leather interior, power sun roof, dual exhausts. This car has a few dings as with age, little bit of dirt on the leather and the front drivers seat is wore a little. Engine has had both valve cover gaskets replaced, new starter, oil changed, new plug wire, replaced throttle body, all of this was done in April 2012. Recently over the last few miles it was driven, a slight whine noise from engine which I think may be a pulley that may need to be replaced, I am not sure. Also it needs a transmission service or replacement but transmission slips into neutral, even when in drive but if you pull the battery and reset the computer, it will move again for a few miles just fine. I am a cancer patient and can not afford to work on this car anymore as other than this mess, it is a strong driving car. I just replaced the thermostat 2 weeks ago as it was getting just a little bit warmer than normal so I changed it. These are the only things I have noticed and I did start it again this evening and she fired right up now problem. This car runs like a beast and there is no lack of power in this Yamaha V-8 which makes this a rare car and still very popular even after so many years. I have enjoyed this car but have a hard time working on them now since after chemotherapy and I am just going to pass it on for someone to fix up and run for a long time from now. The car is located at our apartment in Newark, Delaware (right off I-95). The tag on this car will not go with the car and is being sold as is no warrant.
