Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1972 Toyota Pickup. The drive train is original, 4 cylinder engine and 4 speed manual transmission. The carb was rebuilt about 3 years ago by The Carburator Factory of Citrus Heights, CA. The door panels were missing when I got it, and the seat was old pillows and a blue tarp on the original seat frame. I put leather on wood panels for the doors. I then painted the seat frame, and coverd it with new foam cushion and leather from a 1998 Lincoln Town Car (the same car I got the leather for the door panels from). The body has been painted in Hugger Orange. This was a work truck for many years. The body has lots of little waves and dings. The floor has had sheet metal tacked in place. Surprisingly, the bed is in very good shape. The rear window is with the truck, but the gasket to re-install it is missing. The original front bumper comes with the truck, but I like the way it looks without it. The truck does run, and I drive it around town from time to time. This truck is being offered without warrenty, either expressed or implied in any way. I will arrange delivery if you are within 25 miles of zip 21076. Otherwise, I will help your carrier load the truck, but I will not arrange shipping. Please make a deposit of $200 via PayPal within 24 hours of the close of auction. The balance will have to be paid in full, either cash or cashier's check, prior to pick up within 7 days of the close of the auction. IF YOU CAN NOT AGREE TO OR MEET THE TERMS OF SALE, DO NOT BID ON THIS ITEM. IF YOU DO NOT POST THE DEPOSIT WITHIN 24 HOURS, I WILL RELIST THE ITEM FOR SALE AGAIN. If you have any questions, please ask, but I am not a car guru, and know very little about this truck. It changed hands many times before it wound up in my yard, and the history is really unknown.
