Vehicle Detail
This is a great little car - needs some attention, but could run for a long time. I need to get rid of this since I have a new car and its just taking up precious space. Here are details on the interior/exterior and mechanical aspects of the car. This auction may be cancelled if a sale is possible locally. ALSO NOTE: I have listed this car now 3 times with buyers failing to pay. If you have less than 25 winning bids, and/or you have negative feedback, any cases of not paying a winning item, I will cancel your bid. If you feel you would like the car and meet the above, I'll let you bid once you've made a deposit prior to auction close. First, the good: Below is a list of what I've done as parts fail (can't bring myself to do stock replacements). KW Variant 3 shocks/springs Adjustable camber plates Poly bushings Aluminum flywheel Just replaced catalytic converter and o2 sensors Extra set of focus wheels (a couple are dented but repairable) Have rear bolts for camber not yet installed, along with extra urethane bushings that have not yet been installed New performance wires and high power MSD coil packInterior: Generally the car is in pretty good shape inside. Non-smoking car, without any rips or tears in fabrics/leather. Dash has been protected since purchased, and all gauges work. The interior is red and black - red is fabric, black is leather (bolsters). I'll post more pics once I get all my coaching equipment out of the car (soccer coaching stuff). Leather seats, with cloth center sections - black on red Seats are in decent shape, but there is some staining on fabric - in rear seats. No rips in leather or cloth Stereo/CD changer works All speakers work - new subwoofer in rear (blew the original) Exterior: the outside of the car is nice - a few minor dings here and there. Most work is needed on the hood due to salt/highway damage. Typical road debris damage but its not been sanded out, or painted to prevent further rust. Doors also need some help - the drainage isn't working well and the bottom of the doors are starting to rust. Great paint condition but it is showing its age in certain areas. It could get a few years for sure but eventually will need some cosmetic work. The car will need an alignment, new tires, and the emergency brake fixed (cable is stuck so it won't engage). You have some time on the brakes and rotors, but suspect you'll want to inspect and get your own sense for what is needed. Great little car - could be a good candidate for a track car, or to drive around town, or to commute - all uses would require some minor work. Feel free to contact me with questions - reserve is really low considering book value.
