Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice Special Edition Miata. The car came with these features as a Special Edition:AC (blows cold)Limited Slip DifferentialBoth A and B option packagePower SteeringPower WindowsNardi Wood Knob shift knob and emergency brake handleCruise ControlAluminum Alloy WheelsHeadrest SpeakersAs an option your could purchase the matching color hard top, this car has it! It also has a very rare full tonneau cover--buttons on car and completely covers driver and passenger compartment when top is down or the driver side can be unzipped and only passenger side is covered for driving...very cool! It has been very well maintained and I have records that go back to 1998. There is absolutely no rust anywhere, the car has been in Northern California her whole life. It just had a 1,000.00 service including new timing belt, water pump, thermostat, all gaskets and front and rear brakes. The car is ready to go anywhere for a long time! Cosmetically it does have the wear area on the driver's seat bolster like all of these do. There are some clear coat issues as well. It is beginning to flake in some areas and a friend tried to fix the issue on the drivers side windshield pillar and sanded through the paint...you can see it in the pics. It would be a very easy fix at a body shop needing only to paint the windshield frame. We may be able to work it out for me to have that work done for you. You will also noticed a faded spot over the drivers door on soft top. This is the result of trying to scrub off some tree sap. Top is fine but it is a faded area. The car also has a very nice, and very real, Hard Dog roll bar for safety. Note: The roll bar obviously works with both the soft top and the hard top but it prevents the convertible top cover and the full tonneau cover from being installed. I thought it was a reasonable trade off. The roll bar is bolted to the frame of the car and is the best available. Tires are in good shape and are BF Goodrich Traction T/A's in 185 60R 14 Size. This car also comes with the matching British Racing Green hardtop in excellent condition, I want to be clear about this because there has been a question. Hardtop is included with the car! This is a great California Miata. Here is the fun part if you live in the Midwest or the East somewhere I will deliver the car for the price of expenses. I'm heading to PA sometime in the middle of July and as long as the car is paid for before I leave. We can talk about details if this is a good thing for you. I'm sure that I am forgetting something. What a great car. I just looked at the pictures online and the car looks great...I just want everyone to know that there are the regular-use nicks and scratches that go along with a 21 year old car. I think the car is in great shape but it is a driver. Not to alarm anyone just want to make sure that I under promise and over deliver. A couple other things, the stock stereo unit is still in the car and it works just so-so. I would replace it if I were to keep it. The rubber along the both the drivers window and the passenger window (top of door where you put your left arm when driving with window open) is really showing UV damage due to this great CA sun. The car does not leak or any thing like that I just wanted to be clear and let everyone know.
