Selling my 1986 Mustang GT, has 104,000 original miles, 20,000miles on rebuilt 306 bottom end, mostly stock other wise, headers, h-pipe, 4:10 gears, Hurst Shifter! Lowered 1.5" all the way around, 5 lug conversion, with 2002 Mustang front setup, 17x8 front rims, 17x10 rear rims, the stance and looks of this fox body is awesome, turns alot of heads! A/C, cruise, power windows, power locks all work, heater core did go out this spring so I unhooked the heater hoses going through the firewall and by passed it, other wise everything else works like it should! Interior is all original besides the headliner, missing one trim piece, crack on the dash, and drivers seat could use some attention, other wise its in amazing condition for a 1986, body is very straight and solid, new paint about 9 months ago, could use new weather trim moldings around the windows on the doors, car is spotless underneath, no soft spots or rust, car has zero rust, and is not a bondo can going down the road! Car runs and drives amazing, drive it anyplace, its a joy to drive, you wont believe its a 86 when you drive it, so solid, straight and effortless to drive, brakes are great, tires are excellent 75+% all the way around, no problems mechanically at all, you can jump in and drive this car anyplace, never gets hot, never misses a beat period, and look amazing doing it!! Car is considered a classic now, but drives as good as my 06 Mustang, and looks better in my opinion, but im a huge Fox Body Mustang person!! This isnt a show car, but it is very very nice for a mostly original 86, with some modern upgrades done, and this will run circles around older stock 5.0s and 96-04 4.6L GTs!
