that's right you heard it no reserve the last bidder will own it this little car runs and drives excellent with no mechanical problems at all it does not leak or burn any oil does not smoke at all the transmissions Schiff's as it should the body and paint is in excellent condition with no oxidation the paint is still very shiny with no scratches that I am aware of the chrome bumpers are in great shape as well as the rubber on the bumpers they are not cracked or Briddle the body moldings are also in great shape the engine compartment as well as the undercarriage and trunk compartment looks great and is very clean as you will see in photos some paint chipping on some of the undercarriage parts it's just showing it's age It has always been a California car and has never been in any accidents it has no rust issues at all the tires are in great shape one out of 4 hubcaps has some oxidation some of the air conditioning positioning controls are crack as you will also see in photos keep in mind we are talking about very small issues for a vehicle that is almost 40 years old all of the glass is in excellent condition except for front windshield it has a small chip as you will also see in photos the interior is in great shape all of the wood has been redone to a beautiful chocolate finish It is not cracked or Bridel it is in excellent shape the carpeting is nice and has no rips the seats are also in nice shape except for driver seat it is stuck in a position that won't break free also just above the rearseat there has been a leather patch job that has been done there is also some sun damage to the carpeting above the rear seat as you will see in photos the steering wheel has some really hard to notice hairline cracks it still has its original radio the A/C steel works and blows cold all of the power windows work please note I am trying to do my best to describe this vehicle it is really difficult being so old I can only hope photos will help if you have any questions please feel free to contact me on my cell at any time (408) 771-3385 Tom thanks God bless and good luck with your searchTo view more photos of car and video of engine starting go to www.Photobucket.com when signing in use username 1971mercedes280se and password 29312931 My terms of auction a $500 non- refundable deposit is due immediately after end of auction and balance to be paid no later then 3 business days later the car is being sold as is where is so if you are the last bidder you own it when placing a bid you are engaging into a legal binding contract if you cancel for any reason I will report you to eBay also if you have negative or zero feedback please e-mail me or call me before bidding if you do not I will not take your bid seriously and I will cancel it the car is located in San Jose California and can be viewed anytime before end of auction please note if you are a out of state buyer I highly recommend sending a friend or a in dependent auto inspector to satisfy your self. buyer will be responsible for shipping cost I will help arrange if needed payment instructions I will only except bank wire cashiers check or cash in personI am not trying to be difficult I am saying all this just to keep this auction honest and to be sure that we have serious buyers and not tire kickers this is the first time the car has ever been offered for sale so I would like to keep it that way I do not want to list it again just because everybody would think somethings wrong with the car or the seller. eBay is a great place to buy and sell as I have many times but there is a lot of flakes out there so please let's keep this auction honest good luck and bid with confidence I also reserve the rights to end the auction at any time for any reason
