Up for auction is this beautiful 1966 Mustang, that is almost completely Original. It comes equipped with the original factory 289 engine and a factory 4 speed transmission, and the original poppy red paint. It's hard to believe it's 46 years old. I was told this little mustang had been garaged most of its time. The mustang has all of the original chrome inside and outside. It is in Very nice condition. The front and rear bumpers are original and have NO dents, rust or pitting. To look at this car you would think it has been restored, at one time or another, but it has not. The only thing on the inside that was replaced is the radio. The original owner replaced it with a very nice AM/FM stereo system and rear speakers, that sounds really great. The car has the original Black and Yellow license plates. The trunk still has the original mat and tire cover, plus the original wheel and worn spare tire. This mustang runs really strong and shifts really smooth for a 4 speed. I was told by the original owners that the wheels were replaced about 20 years ago. They are in really good condition, as well as the tires. There is No power steering or power brakes on this car. I was told by the original owners that brakes had been replaced a couple years ago. I am the second owner of this Mustang. When I purchased this car, I received receipts from the family, that I will pass along to the next owner. I decided to replace the original vinyl top, because it was showing its age. I refurbished the engine compartment and replaced the decals. I also had a new dual exhaust system installed a few weeks ago. As I stated previously, this Mustang looks and runs really nice.
