Some came with leather and all feature a real wood instrument panel and handsome Veglia gauges" From Hagerty This is a turbo model, 5 speed. It needs to be restored back to its original glory, It wont take much to put it on the road while you restore the body. I picked this up for a father / son project. Its too advanced for my 10 year old to learn on with me. I just installed a new electric fuel pump and filter( Not mounted in the bracket, I have the brackets , replaced a fuel line. It starts right up and runs strong, No smoke or noises. The brake petal is low so You are going to need to go through the brake's Lines. This is a 4 cylinder dual overhead cam motor with Bosch injection system.Transmission is a 5 speed, I did put it in-gear while on jack stands without issue but when the car is on the ground I cant engage the transmission with the clutch disengaged so there is probably surface rust on the flywheel, There are over 100 photo's on the photo bucket link. There are dings and dents as seen as well as blisters and a few holes needing patching, Suspension and uni-body seem solid. Top needs replacement,about 350.00 on ebay . I will include new set of spark plug wires and plugs that are currently on order, The spark plug wire ends are shot where they slide over the plugs. I would like to sell it but will consider a miata or similar trade It is advertised locally so I reserve the right to cnx auction early The car is located in Guilford Ct. Interior is decent for a driver once it is road worthy.
