This incredible mustang was in totally original condition when purchased, it has been in dry storage since 1981 last date on title too. everything was in great shape and car has a lot of old N.O.S parts IN ORIGANAL BOX'S that was purchased in late 70's but were never installed until now N.O.S list includes= door panels, carpet, door fuzzies, weather stripping, hub caps, trunk mat, door sil plates,break master cylinder,shocks, etc. with every other part is original ford on the car nothing after market except the battery/exhaust/tires all the original ford stamped body numbers are on every panel and very legible all the sheet metal is original and rust free, WITH DOOR PLATE AND NUMBER ON INNER FENDER. not 1 spec of rust is on the car ---------------------------- WHAT WAS DONE TO THE MUSTANG------------------------------- BODY- professionally painted by top notch body shop / painted with the original paint code ( 2 part-base clear coat) wilbeden white - very shiny and slick--see pics--, all original glass with numbers and great shape CHASSIS- new shocks(nos?), new tires, new breaks all 4, new exhaust from header to tail, all exterior lights work great-bright- all wiring like new, has original jack/hook/lug wrench, but missing the spare tire and cover INTERIOR- ALL ORIGANAL EXCEPT DOOR PANELS AND CARPET WHICH ARE N.O.S.! everything else was just cleaned/polished and in great shape including the original seats-not 1 tear and feels great still soft, all the chrome very nice,every gauge works, every switch works,(lights,wiper,horn,turns,breaks,etc) the only thing that does'nt work inside is the origanal radio- may just be a fuse-? (i never looked into it) i did look up behind the dash and believe it or not it all looks brand new! did not see anything out of place or cut. origanal driverside remote mirror is very nice and works(the outside isnt perfect but still shines) all interior lights work, has rear speaker switch, origanal floor mats actually comes with 2 sets of 4 mats for total of 8 origanal floor mats, the set in it has the 2 white stripes on them the other set just has the horse. the 1 thing wrong or not perfect with the interior that i can see is that there is 1 cut in the headliner behind pass seat toward the window and is hardly noticable and is only about 1in. long (could'nt see replacing the origanal for something like that) but had to mention it, seats slide nice and free along with the origanal seat belts they work also, evrything -like new- HAS ORIGANAL OWNERS MANUAL AND ENVELOPE THAT IT CAME IN DRIVE TRAIN- NUMBERS MATCHING! engine was told rebuilt (i believe it) not 1 ounce of smoke running or at start up, runs great all origanl parts, the fuel filter even has the fomoco sticker on it,leather straps for hoses, wiring org. only thing i see that was changed or not origanal under hood is the battery and maybe hoses look new so do not know if their ford? still has points ignition, starts on barely half turn, transmission shifts like it should engages instantly and nice firm smooth shifts while driving, breaks stop like they should for manual breaks, no power steering but turns easy, brought it up to 65 mph and just as smooth and quiet and no shakes or shimmy's or rattles, really runs and drives probably like it did off the line in 1965, not that i know but taking a confident guess It truely is a very nice origanal mustang about as close to 100% numbers matching car you can get - THE REAR BUMPER THOUGH ORIGANAL WAS THE ONLY THING THAT WAS'NT REPLACED OR N.O.S, BUT IS NICE FOR LOCAL SHOW BUT CHROME IS NOT PERFECT BUT FRONT IS NEW WOULD'NT HESSITATE TO DRIVE IT TO FLORIDA TOMOWROW!
