1967 Rambler American 440, 2dr. hdtp, 199, automatic. I am forced to sell my Americans due to a family crisis. I am also listing a 65 American 440H 2dr. hdtp and a pair of 65 American 440 convs. I am the second owner of this car. I have the original window sticker somewhere and will post a picture as soon as I locate it. It came with 2 options, tinted glass and dealer installed A/C. The A/C is still R12 and it works, but last summer the thermostat switch shorted out and started to melt the face plate before I could get it unhooked. I have not repaired it. It is all original except the wheels. The 199 runs great, the trans works smooth. It has good brakes. I replaced all the brake and fuel lines 2 years ago when I had it tagged and drove it regularly. It needs front floor pans and has rust in the quarters and around the windows. The frame rails are solid. Included with the car are new front floor pans, new front and rear window rubbers, new red windlace. Used panels to repair the trunk and window frames. The interior will need redone. The front window regulators are jacked up, there is a set of 4 in a box on the back seat I bought on Ebay but never installed. Car is sold AS IS. I am willing to answer any questions.
