1964 International Scout 800 1/4 Ton 4X4 Convertible with Removable Hard Top With 53k original miles I have an antiquity company in the middle of Texas. We specialize in fine antiques and collectibles. Once in a while my customers turn in a classic automobile or motorcycle.This is one of those items: This cute little truck(1964 International Scout 800 1/4 Ton 4X4 Convertible with Removable Hard Top) belonged to one of our friends in the Hill Country of Texas. The truck originally was from New Mexico. The Scout is a 4X4 with a great running original 152 4 cylinder engine that only has 53k original miles. The truck has a clear Texas title. It is licensed and inspected with an approved antique/vintage license plates. The truck comes with its original 3 speed transmission and dual gas tank. The owner did many wonderful upgrades including:· electronic ignition · new windshield wipers · new windshield wiper motors · new radiator · new electric fan · new shocks at the back of the truck · and many, many extra new partsWe received the truck and it was too straight and too clean, so we sent it out for a new oil change, carburetor rebuild, and a very extensive paint job. Now we call it a “little yellow fun beach-mobile”. The only thing that needs paint is the hard top (the back window rubber is brand new). All the inspections must be done before the auction closes. Remember that this classic truck is 48 years old. Please remember that things always look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person. Your bid is your contract.
