I bought this 2006 VW Jetta new. I am the one and only owner. When bought, I had to order it as they were too scarce to get one at the dealership. So it has more options than most other Jettas. This includes the P2 package (listed below). I also ordered the larger 17” wheels. Also it has the 8 air bag option and an automatic DSG transmission. The P2 package includes: 1. Sunroof 2. Heated front seats 3. 12 way power driver’s seat 4. Leather steering wheel 5. Multi-function steering wheel 6. Leather seats 7. Dual climate control (e.g. set at 67 for left and 65 for the right side) It is listed as a mechanics special as the car started running poorly as if it were missing or not getting air through the air box. Initially the dealer’s mechanic thought it was air or the airbox. Eventually they indicated it needs the camshafts replaced. They have also previously indicated the car needs a new flywheel. The car will start and run, we drove it about 50 miles since getting the news. However it runs poorly. Prior to this problem, it ran and drove straight. The suspension was good, the transmission works perfectly. All electrical components work: elec seats, heated seats, all gauges, power windows, cruise control, power mirrors, AM/FM/SAT/CD radio. The CD player can load/play up to 6 CDs. The interior is in nice shape. A/C still runs cold. The car also has hail damage, lots of little dents. It has a lot of miles however they are primarily highway miles. A testimony to this is the car still has the original front brakes. I have all of the service records. The car has all factory recommended service including the synthetic oil changes at the prescribed intervals. As to the service records, VW serviced the following over the course of the past 6 years: · Timing Chain (at about 110k miles) · Water Pump (at about 110k miles) · A coolant hose · Battery (I bought another VW battery as the first one made it to 175k miles) · Rear brakes · Glow Plugs · EGR Valve · I had the Transmission oil serviced twice · Outside temperature sensor What I believe it needs: · Camshafts (I am not sure I buy the dealer’s story, it was running good, no gradual decline) · Flywheel (makes a chirping sound at idle, goes away above 1200 rpm) · Front Brakes (still has the originals) · Should need a Timing belt in the next 10k · I cannot say this is everything, it is what I know FEEDBACK SCORES We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback.
