1992 GMC Typhoon. This truck spent almost all of it's life in FL. Older owner, never a kids toy. Has absolutely no rust or rot! Underside is very nice with only light surface rust starting. No scale on frame or anything. Currently has 153k on the odo. The truck starts right up and can be driven anywhere!! The engine light comes and goes For an EGR code. I was going to delete it but have not gotten around to it. The abs light also comes and goes likely from a dirty wheel sensor. The truck has had all the basic stage 1 mods done. New oxygen sensor, new plugs and performance wires, new MSD billet distributor, MSD coil, new high output alternator, new high flow walboro in tank pump, new motor mounts, Typhoon throttle body name plate, all silicone vacuum lines. New upgraded MAP 3 bar sensor, new duralast gold batery, new vent visors (not installed) Magnaflow exhaust (new tip not yet installed) upgraded prop shaft. All new front SSBC brakes,rear powdercoated alum drums. Has tinted windows all around, nice kenwood CD deck. New Memphis audio rear speakers (not yet installed) the interior is almost perfect, no rips or damage, has new Lloyds floor mats with typhoon logo.has sylvania silverstar headlight and fog lights, tinted front turn signals,LED interior lights, All gauges work, a/c needs to be charged. I have two sets of stock wheels, the ones currently on the truck all have BFG drag radials on them. The other set is very nice but no tires. Neither have center caps. The engine bay is very clean and is not rusty or greasy has a billet engine tie down as well as a new alternator The body is rust and rot free!! Paint is typical of a typhoon, it can be compounded out and will look nice but the oxidation returns.the pass rear quarter looks to have been painted as when the truck is clean it is much slightly deeper black than the rest (not as oxidized) there is no evidence of a repair of any kind and carfax is clean so not sure why or if it was painted?there are Few sports where the paint lifted and burnt off from the FL sun. Still looks very nice!! The only flaw is that it was bumped lightly from behind and it broke the pass rear cladding corner. I have the part and it is possible to fix it or just replace it. The bottom of the tailgate also has a slight dent under the logo. It's very hard to notice it!! the rest of the cladding is good but like all sy/ty vehicles some mounting tabs need to be fixed and its loose in spots. This is a very nice truck that runs and drives excellent, needs nothing to be a daily driver. I have a clear title in hand. You will not be disappointed and will not find one this nice for this price!! i have stacks of paperwork going back to the 1990's. always had regular oil changes and maintence done!!
