Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my awesome 1989 4x4 on road off road sierra K2500 pickup /Snowplow/off road mudder. All though this truck is a oldie but a goodie. It has recently had the motor redone just before i purchased it about a year ago.It has about 27000 on the motor. It has a pretty fresh rebuilt 400 trans in it and is set up for mudding and snowplowing.I have owned this truck for about a year and a half and have had all new upper and lower balljoints and new front axles and tierods ends and pretty much the whole front end rebuilt by certifed mechanic with the documents to prove it.I had no choice this truck is a money maker in the winter and alot of fun in the summer to take off roading .I was out plowing last winter and lost the upper driverside balljoint and had the front end inspected and the mechanic recommened to reapair all of the front end.the only problem with the front end would be a frontend alignment is need after plowing snow this winter.I have had the plow gone over with a rebuild on the pump and some adjustments to have it ready for next year before i removed it for the summer. The frame is in pretty good shape for the age of this 4x4.The tire our weathered but still get the job done. There are mismatched but the size are all the same.As you will see on this pickup it is a workhorse and isnt the prettyist looking truck in town but is very dependa ble and still has a lot of life left if you are lookig for a project. The 350 is very very strong running and dosnt leak any oil on your drive or you garge floor and may burn very little oil but not much.Depending on how hard you beat it.It has a recently rebuilt engine in it and you can tell by the way it runs. The tranny has no issues and shifts as it should and is very strong. The 4x4 works very well also with no issues. The rearend is solid.I have had the service done by lube pros every 3month on the oils and was told the tranfercase gasket could stand to be changed it was showing a drip here and there but never have seen anything on the floor or the driveway. As far as the floors go the driver side would need a pcs of sheet metal welded in a spot which myself i just layed a pcs in there and put the floormat down and have never seen it get wet inside or cold and i have plowed some serious snow with this truck. The bed is in real good shape as you will see in my photos but the bed liner will need to be bolted down. The doors are not the best but they seal up tight and do not leak. All and all this truck has a lot of life left in her and could make somebody happy. The exhaust will need a patch welded on the converter and thats the only problem with the exhaust the rest is in real good shape. All the gages work in the truck but some of them are not working properly.I have shot several picture to show as much as i can on this item because iam sure i have not mention everything that i need to mention.Iam not asking a fortune for this awesome 4x4.I would not worry about driving this truck anywhere after purchasing some new tire they are about 50%right now.I will be selling this with no reserve and have this listed locally also and reserve the right to end this auction a t anytime within ebay rules. All offers will be considered. If you need any further info on this item up for auction feel free to call me @ 815-298-2870 or email me.Serious buyer only.Thank you for veiwing my auction. On Jun-07-12 at 11:07:02 PDT, seller added the following information: To all serious bidder,If you would like to call me e-mail me @Lcro218291@comcast.net to set up a time to come by and take a look and test drive this 1989 K2500 pickup.I think you would be very surprized at the condition this truck is in.It has had alot of work done to it and is in real nice shape for the age.I mention in the description that the converter had a hole in it.It is a very small hole which dosnt require a new part unless you would think it need it.When i went to midas muffler and had it check out because i could smell a liitle exhaust.Thats when i found the problem and the mechanic didnt have time to replace it.He also said that with the size of the hole it could be welded if you didnt want to spend the money on a new converter. The exhaust at the present time sounds awsome the way it is but i beleive to have the hole welded or the converter replace it would have the sound it use to have before it burnt through. To weld it its about a $50.00 dollar fix if you think it needs it.To me it didnt bother me for the sound because it still sound awesome.I also forgot to mention it has a 7 feet western snowplow with a reuilit pump and fairly new shocks on the plow and clyinders for side to side movments. The plow its self is worth $1000.00 dollars.Thank you for veiwing my auction.
