1951 Pontiac Chieftain 2 Door Sedan 1951 Pontiac Chieftain, This is a standard 2 door sedan. Has a flat head straight 8 with a 3 speed manual column shift trans. runs and drives great!! The interior has the seats, door panels and carpet, but it does not have the headliner. I do have the headliner bows for it. the only gauge that is working is the volts gauge, and an aftermarket temp gauge. I bought this car a year ago wanting to have a project to work on but I dont have the time or money to do what I wanted with it. The paint is starting to chip off and I sprayed some primer over the spots to keep it from being bare metal. the car appears to be pretty solid and rust free, the trunk looks solid and the floors look like they had some patch panels installed. this will make a great project that you can drive while you restore. I got a bank loan when I bought the car so the bank has the title and it will take about 3 weeks for me to get the title to you after the car is purchased.
