Normal 0 Bid to Win this RARE Barn Find - ALL Original 1967 Skylark (GS?) Convertible - Drive it Home... Only 6,319 Skylark Convertibles were made in '67 in the whole world - How many do you think are left? - This Well Maintained, 2 owner, ALL original '67 Convertible has NOT been cobbled together like some offered. Has NO Frame Patches or Repairs, NO Quarter panels replaced and has original fenders, floors, etc. NOT thrown together, gobbed w/bondo, & painted to cover it up as some have. This 67 is Solid with ALL Original Sheetmetal, is Straight, and NO patch panels are necessary. PLUS it's mechanicly in Great Condition - What a Find!! Runs better and less miles than my wife's van!! Body was repainted and some minor body repair (dings & bumps) about 10-12 years ago (probably what saved it). Paint is heavy, cracked and it has some surface rust but NO holes. The son said when it was painted, there was alot of work done, including completely rebuilding the engine and suspension - it is very tight and responsive still. This All Original 2 owner Skylark sits tall & firm with no extra bouncing - It's tight as if it was new and a delight to drive - no squeeks, leans, or wobbles. It prob only had 10,000 mi since... Everything seems to work like it should and the Original Engine was rebuilt right and runs Great!! Starts Right Up! Does NOT Smoke, Leak, Drip, or Slip. The U-Joints were just replaced. Has Air Shocks. I'm told it's a Posi Rear. Original Rally Wheels are in Great Condition w/Shinny Chrome and Tires are Great with 85-90% Tread. Dual Exhaust is in good condition - NO Leaks. Brakes seem alittle weak (I have New Brake Lining & Master Cylinder). Front & Rear Bumpers are shiny chrome - see you're reflection in them! I just (last week) installed 4 new Halogen Headlight Bulbs (Cost me 60.00+). It has RARE Tilt Wheel, Rare Speed Warning, Fender Skirts w/Trim, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top, and best of all; Everything is There - ALL the Original Side Trim, Original Rally Wheels & even Center Caps (nice!), etc Needs Carpet replaced - (have Brand New Carpet in the Box) - Floors are original & solid, trunk floor needs some patching in one corner. Convertible Top is decent, with a few patches, and doesn't leak. (Have NEW Convertible Top in the Box). Interior is Real Nice, not perfect but in decent condition w/a few seam pops. Has Extra Gauges. Has a Nice Padded Dash too. Come & get it before someone else grabs it up - It's Ready to Go Cruisin' I also have ALL parts available to Add ALL the Gran Sport options - including; Real Nice RARE Original GS Hood w/Factory Scoops, ALL the Trim, GS Grill and ANY other 67 parts wanted (see below for details). Pretty good deal when there were Only 6,319 Skylark Convertibles originally made ( Only 2,140 were GS Convertibles). If you figure maybe 1/3 or less are left - PLUS - it's worth alot more w/GS options You can own something different than the common Chevelle, Camaro, or Mustang - and it's a Pretty Fast Convertible!!! Basically, everything that would turn this Skylark into a '67 GranSport is here and available (except GS emblems) including: A real nice GS Hood w/scoops & inserts; Wheel Opening Trim (including the hard-to-find lower short pieces); Grill w/Red "Line" and Emblem intact (needs some minor crack repair); Radiator; etc. These, and any other parts wanted, INCLUDING Good Engine & Trans, are available to the winning bidder but NOT included in this auction.
