I want to introduce you to my car and its
history. The car came into my family as a low mileage, pre-owned vehicle in
1971. My sister drove it box stock for seven years. She then sold it to my older brother in 1978. He was inclined towards performance modifications which
included conversion to a 440. At the tender and impressionable age of thirteen he took me for a ride which had a profound effect on me, due in no small part to the fact that I was unable to lift my head off the head rest when he accelerated. Very cool! From that day on I looked forward to owning a car like
that. Over the next two or so decades the car went through a series of performance enhancements and customizations. As a professional auto body
specialist he totally refreshed and restored the car from the inside out. The motor has been rebuilt: new pistons bored .030 over, 510 Crowler cam, triple cut valve job,umbrella seals with matching
Crowler springs. An Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold with Holley 750 vacuum secondary, MSD ignition, all kept cool by a BeCool Radiator with dual
electric fans. Hooker headers and a custom exhaust let the 500+ HP motor breathe. Power is transferred through a fully rebuilt 727 transmission with a
Coan torque converter. A balanced drive shaft is connected to a new 410 LSD 8 3/4 rear end with a spare bolt on 276 pumpkin. New leaf springs, Caltraks Traction bars and Hd shocks with new BFGoodrich Radial T/A P275/60R15 tires help connect
this beast to the road.Some extras include fiberglass front fenders and hood, with a trunk mounted heavy duty battery for better weight distribution.
Roll cage is fully padded. The car has been garaged continuously and never driven in winter.I’ve been privileged to own this car since 2005.
I’ve enjoyed the satisfaction of continuing the family tradition with both driving and improving the vehicle over time. It is in better condition and has
improved performance from when I first took over stewardship. Life circumstances
regretfully incline me to pass this magnificent car on to its next owner. I’m sure whoever takes over will see the incredible value this car represents.

A little history on the Barracuda: it's been in the family since 1971. My sister, Linda, bought it used in Ft. Meyers, FL. She drove it for 6 years, at
that time it had a 4 speed Hurst shifter and a 318 engine. My brother Otto
bought it off of her sometime in '77/'78. He owned it until 2005, that is when
I purchased it. A lot of work has been done to the car in the past 12 years.
It started in '98, it was completely stripped down, all parts were taken off
the car and it was put on a rotisserie. Right down to the very last seam of
caulk. It took 2 years to finish the project. My brother Otto has been doing
body work, professionally, for 40 plus years so he is really good at what he
