For sale is my 06 VW GTI, I am the 2nd owner of the car and have had the car for the majority its existence. The car is in great condition, I am an older man and do not street race nor drag race and I really dont beat up on my cars. I just enjoy a fun car to drive on on a daily basis so I took this already fun car and added a few tasteful mods. The car is lowered on FL Sportline coilovers rolling on black OZ Racing Ultralegarras, with 3 month old Toyo Proxy tires. The car has been remapped with APR's 93 octane ECU upgrade and also comes with a Neuspeed air intake. I am also including a brand new in box Euro Customs 3 inch downpipe that I just purchased a few months ago and never had installed. I wanted to go Stage 2+ so I was purchasing parts. The car is very very reliable and has been my daily driver for several years now. The interior is in very good condition, it does show some signs of wear such as the door handles are a bit scuffed from daily use and the headliner is starting to sag near the front area, also the dial to turn on the lights is a showing signs of wear also. Other than that there are no rips on the seats not anywhere for that matter accept for the headliner. The exterior is also in great condition with only 1 ding near the gas cap. It never bothered me really so I tend to forget its there. The front shows the usual chips from highway use and the white paint has little to no scratches. The only noticeable part is on the black area on the front bumper, which someone can probably paint or plastidip on their own and save some money. Now the other part on the exterior before I forget that shows some signs of wear is the front wheel arches. The rims also do have a bit of curbing on them but I got them like that and had plans to paint them. Since the car is low it tends to rub some times and has cause a very tiny amount of paint to crack off, you can see in one picture. The back does not rub, I was going to have the front fenders rolled eventually since I was going to keep this car for a while. You can buy the Candy While touch up paint from ECSTuning.com actually and just cover that up. It also has the HID lights from factory, and I added yellow fog lights and the ZiZa high quality white led license plate lights which look really great at night. Mechanically the car is great, shifts perfectly never grinds, drives as smooth as a lowered car can... Now for the negatives. The A/C does take a few moments to get cold, for some its not an issue but living in FL it is. I may have that recharged depending on buyer. As I said the car is lowered so there will be some rattling sounds, the only real sounds come from the trunk area but I think its just the spare tire and tools that need to be tightened up. And the last thing that Ive noticed lately, Ive had to take it on several long drives this year (4 hour drives to be exact) on these drives at times it gets a strange hiccup sort of like a fuel cut, but its only momentarily and never happens really on daily drives. possibly be resolved with a fuel system check maybe. I dont really know since its only happened a few times and not daily it has not become an issue. I have changed the spark plugs, coils, fuel filter, cabin filter and oil in the past 2 months and its always used synthetic oil. The miles are 66695 and it IS my daily driver so it will go up a little bit. The reason I am selling is because we are now expecting a baby and this is REALLY not a good car for a newborn at ALL... lol.... If you would want to have the car inspected you can schedule something with me for that and if you are from out of town I can drive the car to get shipped as long as it is local and at the buyers expense. Obviously this car has no warranty since its 6 years old and is sold as it. ALSO I will have the car professionally waxed and have the inside the shampooed for the buyer so they get a GREAT looking and driving car right off the bat. I will need $500 sent through Paypal within 24 hours of the same and the balance we can figure out the best way for both parties. ALSO NOTE I do have the title to this car on hand and this car has never been in an accident.ALSO forgot to mention the check engine light is on because of the APR remapping and the airbag light is on because of something going on under the driver seat although the airbags DO work, Ive been told that someone with a VAGCOM can fix this...
