UP FOR AUCTION IS A 1964 VW TYPE III (FASTBACK)!!!! This little fastback is definitely a project car. I took it in and a diagnoses done. The following is what they found; - The right tie rod needs to be replaced- Spark plug #2 & 4 need insert plugs- The muffler needs to be installed. A new one comes with the car it just needs to be installed.- The electrical wiring needs to be finished. It is wired from the motor, but has not been connected to the fuse box.- The rear wheel cylinders leak.- It needs an e-brake handle and cable.- The front brakes are at 50% and the rear brakes are wet.- The ball joints are bad.- The steering box arm is loose. This is what needs to be done to make it road worthy. There is some rust under the back seat, but nothing has rusted through. There is $144 back fees due on it as well. It also comes with some miscellaneous parts that have been accumulated since I got the car. This car will need to be towed because it is not registered or insured.
