Vehicle Detail

I apologize to anybody that was interested in my car before I ended the listing early. There was an issue with my computer, so here we go again. Hi. Up for sale is my Mustang which I have owned for the past ten years. I will be as straight forward as possible without adding a lot of sales fluff. First off.... I do not know the history of this car other than I bought it from an adult who drove it quite often and just treated it as a car, and therefore the car is being sold AS IS with no warranty expressed or implied. This car is not a show car but it really gets a lot of attention where ever I go with it. I've driven this car very little and have put about 300 miles a year on it. I really didn't want to sell it but I have to wear a brace on my left foot and can no longer push the clutch down. I could convert it to an automatic but this car it too nice not to keep original. As you can see from the pictures and the video the paint is nice with a couple of scratches and chips here and there. The scratch in the door is about 5" and there are two on the hood one about 12" and one about 6". I had some touch-up paint mixed but don't have a steady enough hand to attend to them so rather than make a mess I left them alone. I try to keep up with the chips though....they are easier. There is a small dent in the lower front valence. All these things I mentioned have been there since I bought the car. There is a small pimple on the trunk lid where something must have been on the spare tire when the lid was closed, again it was there when I bought this car. These imperfections are minor, but they are being mentioned since the pictures and video really don't show them. Basically the exterior and interior are the same condition as the day bought it. The motor runs great and has a nice sound to it. The transmission is excellent as is the stock shifter. The following parts have been replaced; front coil springs and saddles, rear leaf springs, power steering hoses and heater core. I recharged the A/C but it leaked out so disconnected the compressor. There is a new Comp cam and lifters, double roller timing chain and 355 gears on a '67 Equa-loc (posi) rear along with new pinion bearings, a Edelbrock 289 Performer intake and a brand new Holley 600 CFM carburetor that were professionally installed all at once. This car is not a race car just a really nice cruiser. The car needs a new exhaust donut gasket on the passenger side (you can hear it in the video close up) which is only a 3-4 dollar part but is included. The car also needs the brake distribution block replaced ( the brake light stays on), I have driven it for about 5 years like this though. This is a 75-80 dollar part which also is included. I also have a set of deluxe blue retractable seat belts (need to be reconditioned). All of the original parts except the cam and lifters (I can't find them) come with the car. The driver's side door weather stripping needs to be replaced, the piece that runs along the bottom is and had been missing since I bought the car. I am sure there are things I missed so please ask!!! Check out the video!!!! Overall this car is nice. The camera's date function is not working correctly, they were taken back in Dec-Jan. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is for sale locally. Shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder. I can be available as needed for pick-up at my house. The winning bidder must deposit $1000 non-refundable within 48 hrs.into my pay pal account. The balance is due within 7 days of the auctions end or the car will be re-listed. The only method of payment is a bank or cashiers check that will have to clear first before the car is signed over.
