Vehicle Detail
1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass-street legal set up for drag racing Easy Project Roller-Lots of extras installed!!! I bought this car because I wanted a fast toy. She is a roller and no trailer queen, but look at what is new within the last 300 miles: Completely custom dash with all new Autometer gaugesB&M trick shifter3.73:1 Posi Rear EndDriveshaft safety loop (required for most drag racing)Heavy duty racing transmission cross member with built in exhaust notchesExtreme duty headersExhaust H-pipe and turbo mufflers (for maximum performance)All new rear brakes (drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware)All new front brakes (rotors, bearings, calipers, pads)Completely rebuilt front suspension (ball joints, tie rods and ends, steering box)New shocks and springs all the way aroundHeavy duty radiatorRacing driveshaft This car is really set up to go fast. Previous owner ran a mild 350 small block chevy (mild cam with aftermarket intake and Holly carb turning about 300hp) with a TH350 trans and ran 11's with this set up! With a little more tuning, could easily run into the 10's. Note: this car is no trailer queen, just a solid driver quality cutlass! I hate to get rid of her, but wife is getting tired of it taking up her space in the garage. Car has no engine or trans, but includes EVERYTHING (linkage, cables, even down to the fuel pump) needed to slide in your small block chevy and TH350 trans to go racing. I just don't have the time to get around to finishing it anytime soon. It kills me because it is so close! I have a decent set of front bucket seats, set of 5 15" wheels, and a complete set of brand new rubber door seals available for the auction winner for an additional $250 if you want. I also have a GM Performance HO 350 small block. It produces 330hp and is an almost new crate engine. Check it out online, they are quite a nice engine. It is complete from carb to pan including distributor and even high flow water pump. Engine is ALMOST new. It only had about 5 running hours on it total FROM BRAND NEW when the car I had it in got wrecked. I would be willing to sell it complete for 1/2 the price of new to the winning bidder. This is the engine I was going to put in this car. I also have a TH350 (needs rebuild) that I will throw in with the engine, so you have everything you need to rip up the pavement. No games please, bid only if you are serious. I am happy to show the car if you are a serious bidder. No tire kickers. Car must be picked up by June 2nd, 2012. Check out the pictures and ask questions. A $250 non-refundable deposit must be received within 48 hours of auction end. Car must be picked up and final payment made by June 2nd, 2012. All sales final. If final payment is not received and car picked up by the deadline, deposit will be forfeited and car will be re-listed for sale. Car is being sold as-is with no warranty expressed. Buyer understands that this is a 28 year old car with flaws and no engine or transmission that needs to be towed. Good Luck! On May-24-12 at 09:27:19 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked about the interior. Seats and door panels are very nice. Manual windows and locks. It currently has a bench seat in it, but I have a set of bucket seats available for it to the winning bidder...see the listing info. Headliner is gone, currently it is just the foam board covering the roof. This was done by the previous owner, I am guessing that it began to sag like all the other GM vehicles of this era and they removed the fabric. They are easy to find replacements for, but I wanted to disclose all the details. There will always be things that I forgot to detail, so if you have a question or if I did not cover it in the listing, PLEASE ASK! I try to respond in a timely manner, but don't wait until the hour before the auction ends. AGAIN, I urge you to inspect the car yourself as you are the one buying the car and I want you to know EXACTLY what you are getting. As you can see from my profile, I am very careful about giving as much detail as possible, but it is up to you to inspect before bidding.
