1970 Ford F-250 Ranger I am regrettably selling my 1970 Ford F-250 Ranger pickup truck. I didn't want to sell, but finances dictate that I must. The 360, auto Ford Ranger F250 is a rare factory red truck, highly sought after by collectors/restorers. The truck is the best F series I have ever owned. It is 99.9% rust free. NO BODY WORK, NO BONDO, NO STORIES!! I bought the truck from an elderly man in West Virginia. He garage kept this truck and that is why the truck is in such good shape. I own a lift and I have thoroughly inspected the truck. The pans, cab, corners, fender wells and body are in great shape> All of the typical F series "trouble spots are good. There is only one spot of rust and that is a size of a quarter on the corner of the hood. It's a weird spot to get rust, but it’s there. Anyway, the body is every restorer's dream. The aftermarket, homemade, rear bumper is bent a bit, but the body was untouched. The bed is in excellent shape with no rust. The truck is a 360, V-8, with new carb, points, cap, spark plugs, wires, air filter. The brakes are totally rebuilt in the front, with new shoes and hardware. The brake wheel cylinders are new all the way around. The automatic transmission shifts fine, no issues. The glass is good. The truck DOES HAVE AC!! The AC system was gone thru and converted over to 134A and all she needs is a fan shroud. The truck also has power steering and brakes. It also had the front wheel bearings replaced, AC evaporator, condenser and misc AC parts replaced. The truck drives nicely and i would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. I had an employee drive it for the last month ortwo when his truck broke down. It is very reliable. The tires are in great shape. This is a great truck to restore for a high end restoration. It is a great, low milage truck, it is really hard to find rust free beauty like this one. You can call for more details. I uploaded pictures of both of the cab corners to prove they are rust free. I also took a picture of under the hood. Please note I did NOT detail the motor area. It looks that nice as is. I also want to reiterate that this truck is 99.5% rust free. The floors, cab corners, braces, fender wells, pans, bed etc. are rust free. Now with any truck bed that has been used, there is surface rust from scratches and whatnot, but that is to be expected with any unrestored truck. The buyer of this truck will be very happy with their purchase. I truly hope this goes to some one who will restore this truck to a show quality level.
