Vehicle Detail
I purchased this truck new last May from Penske Buick, GMC. I lost my job and have to sell it. I have changed the oil every 3000 miles with full synthetic oil and filter and allways garaged it. It has no scratches, dings or dents. Period. I also added a chrome grille, (not just the cheap cover). I had Penske install Chrome Door Handles and Mirror End Caps. This truck is like new. and listed at close to $ 40,000 with all of the dealer installed options. The Audio System alone cost almost $3,000.00. The stereo is Pioneer's top end DVD, CD, MP3, Serius/XM, AM/FM Stereo Head Unit with built in Blue Tooth. It also has Media Slots for USB and discs. I then had an Alpine 4 channel amplifier mated to 4 Rocker door speakers and new tweeters. The Pioneer Unit still retains On-Star and Navigation Expansion Capabilities. I had the dealer install matching graphite gray, heated leather seats. They are sweet in the winter! For ambiance, I had blue mood lighting installed under the dash board. It can be switched on or off with a simple switch hidden from sight so that you can surprise your gal. I had the truck prepared for the worst weather I could imagine. First I had the alternator replaced with a DC Power Engineering 200 watt High Output Alternator. I then had the dealer install a second high amperage battery with separate charging circuitry to prevent mutual battery drainage. The truck was equipped from GMC with the heavy duty towing package that includes an auxilliary oil cooler and transmission cooler, HD locking electronic limited slip differential and HD tow bar. The trip computer also shows transmission temperature. For off road use (which I have not yet had the pleasure to use), I started with replacing the factory wheels with Heavy Duty MB 6 Spoke Alloy Silver clear coated 17 inch wheels. I replaced the factory wheels with much better Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 285-70/17 Tires. These are incredible in all weather and do not add any noise! I had the dealer lift the rear suspension 3 inches and raise the front the same to retain the slight nose down angle from the factory, but give it an additional almost 4 inches of clearance. The dealer installed mud guards at all 4 wheels. For asthetics, I had the dealer replace the black grille with the Factory Chrome Grille, Door Handles (these are not just caps!) and Mirror end caps. The truck still has both tow hooks. It also has the fog lights that came with the SLE2 package. The suspension lift combined with the larger diameter tires provide a full 4 inches of additional lift I was told by the GMC Mechanic. He has done a few of these and sais they are pretty popular and reliable. For performance, I had Penske install a MBRP Stainless Steel Single H/P Exhaust so that ground clearance would not be compromised. I then added a Volant H/P Intake System and had it tuned with a GMC computer. The spare tire is full size. As far as condition, there is not a single scratch, ding, dent or any other damage anywhere except for some small scratches inside the cargo bed. It is a truck after all! It gets compiments every where I go. It is very comfortable and handles more like a sports car than a truck. At least that's how I feel. The stereo sounds absolutely incredible and the rear seats both fold up for extra storage space. The windows all have the factory tint which really offsets the Gray-Green Paint. The rear windows actually roll all the way down! This truck looks showroom new and would cost you about 40,000 dollars new. All of the mileage is highway and the oil has been changed every 3000 miles with full synthetic Mobile 1 oil and a new filter. I did this because I planned on keeping the truck until I died. I am 48 years old, so did not beat it or hot-rod it. It has always been garaged. I even park it at the far end of the parking lots so no one opens a door into me.... OCD, I know, but it benefits the buyer that gets this like new truck. I am looking for high 20's K or I will just keep it. I feel 25 percent depreciation is more than fair for the next owner. You WILL NOT find a nicer used one. Call me, I would consider a trade and cash. 610-841-6382 is my number, Thanks, Chuck Reserve is high 20's, I am not going to give this 40K truck away. Why am I selling it? Well, I lost my job and need to relocate where I will need money to start over. If not for that bit of bad news, I would have kept this truck for 20 years or more. I just don't think there is a better built or nicer looking truck out there, and with how I outfitted this truck, you will be blown away when you see it!On May-17-12 at 18:51:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I was mistaken on when I purchased the truck. It was October of last Year. The mileage was primarily driven up because I made a few trips to Houston Texas, so they are primarily highway miles. On May-25-12 at 13:42:18 PDT, seller added the following information: I almost forgot to add, It has a brand new inspection good for the next 12 months!
