Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a completely custom 1951 Willys wagon. This hand crafted “woody” has a Chevy 305 high output V8 conversion and is completely unique and turns every head it passes. You will not find another like it anywhere. I will try to describe the individual bits and pieces below. The 1 to 10 scale indicts overall condition with 10 being excellent. Side note: I am going to be overly critical as to describe this the best I can, some items I will list are just me nitpicking in the interest of full disclosure. Body: 9 The body and undercarriage of the willys is in excellent condition, There is no rust visible or bubbling anywhere, all the metal every seems very very solid. The wood panels were hand molded to fit and were heavily coated with urethane to withstand the elements; they are all in great condition. The door hinges could use a slight adjustment but close and line up pretty well as is. The roof has some very minor dents that aren’t easily visible unless inspected closely. Paint and trim: 7.5 The paint has a very solid shine for a driver and would likely pass most buyers inspection but again in the interest of full disclosure; the paint isn’t perfect, there is minor pitting along the roof line and on the hood, it’s far from noticeable but there none the less. The chrome grill pieces have been re-sprayed in a silver color and have some pitting; they look good but obviously not original. The seals around the windshield are a little aged and could use a replacement. Interior: 8 The Interior has a nice clean look to it; the bucket seats are deep blue leather that looks really good with the lighter colored carpets which are both in great condition. (The dark spot near the gas pedal was me stepping in a puddle before I got in). The dash retains most of its original look but has aftermarket gauges. And the side panels are cover in dark tan vinyl. That works well with the rest of the interior. Mechanical: 8The Willys has all custom running gear. The engine is a 305 high output Chevy with an all aluminum intake and a Edelbrock 4 BBL carb; it starts up on the first turn and sounds amazing. The transmission is a turbo 350 Automatic that connects to 9”ford rear end, it shifts without hesitation. The front end is out of dodge pick up truck. This thing runs very strong and sounds great. It is capable of highway speeds without much issue. The brakes are currently getting a little adjustment (it used to veer slightly left under heavy braking) they will be fine when finished. The suspension is great around town. OVERALL: 8This is a very presentable driver quality Willy Wagon, It is completely unique from anything else on the road and very fun to cruise around town. The reserve is set very reasonable and i am looking to sell fast.
