Vehicle Detail
I have 3 Tan Mercedes...they all look identical. My wife told me I have to sell one of them. So I decided to sell the most current one, my 2001 E430. This car has been a dream car in every respect. I bought it in 2008 when my other Mercedes (an E420) was in the shop, and it is the only one I've driven for the past 4 years. It's in great condition, 112,000 miles, and I've recently had some repairs completed: a new radiator, new brakes on both front and back, new tires, new powerlock control module.... In anticipation of selling it, I had about $2000 of work done on it to ensure that the new owner will have a sweet ride without any problems. It has all the bells and whistles: a moon roof, 6 CD Changer, excellent sound system, power locks, power brakes, a very cold air conditioner, leather seats, traction control, slip control, ABS, etc. It's a great car! Cosmetically, it is excellent! There are two small dents on the back trunk and a scratch on the rear quarter panel (see picture). They are not all that noticeable. Other than that, the body is in excellent condition. The interior is as well. If you've owned a Mercedes before, you know how well they run and handle, how they can turn on a dime, and how dependable they are. And me, I have taken good care of this car and, as I said, just put $2000 into it. I am starting the auction price at $6500, which is low for this car. (Blue Book is $8600). There is no reserve. Highest bidder wins. I live in Michigan, so if you are out of state, you might want to ask a transport company what the cost to transport the vehicle to your house might be. If you're west of the Mississippi, I am thinking the cost would be about $550 max. Or I could drive it to you just for the cost of flying me back into Flint, Michigan (about 50 miles from me, but cheaper to fly to). The terms of the auction are as follows: upon winning, a $1000 non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours. I don't use Paypal, but I do have Square, which can take a credit card. Or the funds can be sent another way. Then, the balance should be paid within 7 days. If you need a different arrangement, please verify that with me BEFORE bidding. Thank you! And good luck bidding!
