We purchased this classic Saab 900 S in Montpelier, Vermont in September of 1998 and she has driven us all over the country through deep snow and scorching deserts, from New England, through the Southern states, Arizona, California, Utah, Colorado, and many places in between. This car, in fact, has become such a part of the family that it is hard to sell! The mileage is around 200,000 miles, but we are not sure exactly how many miles are on this car as the odometer cable failed some time ago. There is rust in several places on the body around the wheel trim and on the lower parts of the doors, which is pretty typical for cars from New England. The transmission needs work, in that third gear does not stay in gear, thus work is in order. There is no back seat, center console, and the headliner fabric is no longer there. The radio works but the CD player does not. The antenna needs a new plastic whip. So, this is certainly a project waiting for TLC. Although this is a quirky little car, this Saab is still very drive-able and would make a great little get around. We have four new Pirelli Cinturato all season tires on this Saab. NADA lists the 1990 Saab 900S with a low retail of $2,875.00 and an average retail of $4,075.00. We are selling this car with a low reserve. Good luck!
