Thanks taking the time to look at our 1969 Mercedes 280SL Convertible and what a great car it is. This 280SL runs and drives like dream. Fly into Chicago and drive it home. I would have no hesitation in driving it across the country. It fires right up with no ticks, knocks or weird noises. It runs straight down the road with no issues at all. The transmission shifts perfectly and on time. The tires are about 85% percent. The car was fully serviced in the past 5 years by the previous owner. We have over $17,000 in receipts including an engine and transmission rebuild, new master cylinder, all brakes and brake lines, water and fuel pump, ect....the list is to long to list. The floor boards and rockers are in great shape with very little rust on them. There is surface rust but NO rot. The interior is in great shape. Just look at the 100 pictures below. All the chrome is there and in great shape. It was all freshly polished. Everything about the car is great. Everything seems to work just as it should even the light in the glove box comes on.
