I lend my sons best friend and roommate the money to buy the truck in 2009. He was from Aruba, his father was supposed to pay me back for the truck and he did not. The truck was brought back to my warehouse and sat there for almost 2 years while I tried to collect my money from the father with no luck. I filed suit and they the father never came back to the USA to defend the law suit. I got judgment and because title was in my son’s friend name, I had to get a storage/mechanic lien In the State of Virginia the DMV will issue a clear title, which they did however they put miles unknown because the original owner (my son’s friend) did not sign an odometer statement. However we had the engine time and miles read at the dealership and it is 100 percent accurate at 41,000 miles.
