This is a very early 1955 and is equipped with the 272 V8 engine 2 bbl carburator that is 99% complete. “Very Rare” 3 Speed overdrive transmission. Has California Black Plates, not cleared for use due to car being previously liened thru the DMV. Paint color is original, car had been repainted years ago. Engine cranks and will run while spraying fuel down the carburetor. No noises in the engine while running. Car is sold without a battery. Tires hold air but are cracked. Brake pedal goes to the floor. This is a great candidate for a complete restoration, the passenger side has rust, the car had been sitting for 30 plus years and a bush had grown over it causing the rust. Parts are available to repair this car, a local wrecking yard has the fender, doors, and posts, the floor pans are available as reproductions. If interested, I will furnish to the buyer the name and phone number of the wrecking yard that has the parts. These parts are NOT part of this auction, only what you see is what is included. I believe the mileage to be original, the driver’s door does not sag and the rear seat looks almost new, the visors also look new. The car has a calendar inside from 1961. It appears that this was a untouched and unmolested car for many years. Windshield is cracked, and some of the passenger side glass will need to be replaced. This is a very rare color and transmission combination on this car. Car is not drivable; it will have to trailered or towed. The seller is able to store the car for up to six months for the buyer, as long as the car is paid for under the terms of the auction. Car is sold with a new clear and clean California title, car is in non-op status with the DMV.
