Up for auction is a great little 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI with an automatic transmission and 114,627 miles. Recent work includes new brake pads and rotors both front and rear, new glow plugs, new glow plug harness, timing belt, and water pump. The car runs and drives great, great pep from the turbo engine and incredible fuel mileage! What more could you want? The car features power windows, power locks. power mirrors, cruise control, ABS brakes, AC that blows ice cold air, plus many other standard features. The exterior of the car is in great shape. The car has never been in an accident and has a clear New York State title with no liens. As with any car, there are some blemishes, but nothing that affect the overall operation of this great little car. The most obvious blemish is the little ding in the leading edge of the hood, which I have pointed out in the pictures of the car. Secondly, the rear bumper has scuff marks that I believe were caused by loading a stroller in and out of the trunk. I think it was a stroller as it looks just like the back bumper on my wifes Jetta from her struggling with our stroller. Finally, the front bumper has some scuff marks on it, looks like a child on a bike maybe rode into while it was parked. Maybe I'm making too big of an issue out of them, but, I do not want anyone to be disappointed or think that they are getting a blemish free car. It is hard to believe but the car is 10 years old and does have a few blemishes. The interior is very clean. The grey cloth interior is still very neat and tidy. No huge stains, the carpets are still very clean, and the interior plastic is clean and tidy. As far as I can tell with my incredibly strong non smokers nose, this car was not smoked in. There are no signs such as an odor, no burn marks on the seats or door panels or on the headliner by the window. Everything inside the car works as it should. All the windows go up and down, the power locks works, the power mirrors both work, the stereo, AC, cruise control, and there are no warning lights on in the dash cluster. Minor wear and tear is to be expected but nothing that would make anyone think the car was abused or neglected. I have been driving this car for awhile and the fuel economy is incredible! I am running errands daily and it is truly a treat to have a car at my disposal where a half tank lasts for a solid week. I am a licesened New York State dealer. Any and all in state sales will be subject to sales tax in accordance with the rate of your home county. For all in state sales, the car will be inspected by a licesened New York State inspection facility. Out of state sales will not be subject to sales tax. I do not charge listing fee's, document fee's, or anything else that results in a higher final price to the buyer. Please do not bid if you have no intention of buying the car. I sold a Jetta on Ebay about 2 years ago and the buyer backed out as he thought he could have it shipped from NY to AL for $200 and then realized it was going to cost more and flaked on the deal. If you need it shipped, please inquire with a shipper and factor that into your budget prior to bidding.
