SPRING IS HERE!!! HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN A VERY UNIQUE MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE You are bidding on a 1986 Ford Mustang Convertible that has been modified and converted to SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) specifications. This is a rust free Texas car that was originally powered by a V6 and automatic transmission. This now has a 2.3 liter 4clylinder, turbocharged engine that produces 200+ HP, has dual exhaust, Ranger roller cam, and Thunderbird Turbo intercooler and is coupled to the world class T5 transmission. The entire drive train is SVO including the differential. The engine runs strong and has 150psi on each cylinder. The cylinder walls showed no wear when I replaced the head gasket last year. I replaced the timing belt at the same time. The suspension includes the SVO “K” frame, springs and adjustable Koni Shocks front and rear. It has 4 wheel disc brakes with new tires mounted on the original 16 inch wheels. I’ve also installed a new rack and pinion unit. The interior is all SVO except the seats. They are from a GT and have the adjustable lumbar support. The seats have new upholstery, new carpet and the top is new with new pads and rear glass window. The body is straight with new paint (2A) color with no dings or dents. It has all the exterior SVO pieces, hood, front fascia, rear tail lights and bumper. This is a very unique car, being that Ford never made a production SVO convertible. This is NOT a notchback with the top cut off. This is a true convertible that has all the reinforcements convertibles have. My intent was to make something Ford should have offered in the first place.
